An organized bathroom will make your mornings and evenings a lot easier and more enjoyable.
Whether it’s a busy family bathroom or a small guest bathroom, I will make it my mission to help you with some clever storage ideas.
If, like me your sick of a messy, unorganized bathroom where you seem to lose everything, then read on for a more organized and stylish bathroom.
How To Organize Your Bathroom
1. Create a Bathroom Pantry

Let’s begin with a bathroom pantry; yep, pantries aren’t just for your kitchen. A pantry is the perfect solution for storing everyday essentials, your skincare, cleaning products, and so much more
- Store your cleaning/first aid supplies, toilet paper, skincare, etc…
- Use baskets to group items together.
- Like labelling your kitchen pantry, label everything in your bathroom.
2. Add a Basket Tower

For smaller bathrooms, a vertical basket tower is the perfect storage solution for all your items without taking up all that floor space.
- Store your toilet paper, rolled towels, bath products etc..
- Keep the most used items for easy access.
- Bring coastal vibes to the bathroom with woven baskets.
3. Install Thin Built-In Wall Units

Built-in wall units are a great way of creating extra and unique storage. A space that’s out of sight, out of mind.
- Store skincare, perfume, makeup, toiletries etc..
- Everything is put away, keeping countertops clear.
- Creates a unique way of storage built into the wall instead of a mirror.
4. Organize Your Vanity with Acrylic Organizers

Place acrylic organizers in your drawers. Prevent a messy drawer where you can’t seem to find anything by putting everything in it’s indivdual compartment.
- Have different sizes of acrylic organizers for all kinds of items.
- Have separate drawers for your makeup, skincare, and toiletries, etc..
- I highly recommend stackable acrylic organizers for cleaning products
5. Use Clear Plastic Bins with Labels

Storage bins with labels make organization practical and straightforward. Stackables are the way to go.
- Have a bin for each category, such as medicines, toiletries, skin care, etc..
- Clear bins are best for quick access; avoid anything else.
- Labels create a straightforward system.
6. Upgrade Your Shower Storage

You can never go wrong with a strong shower organizer to hold all your bottles.
- Best used for your shampoos, conditioners, loofahs, razors, etc..
- Buy rust-resistant shelves
- Keep your most-used products on the shelves and the rest in your storage bins.
7. Keep Your Countertop Simple and Stylish

An organized bathroom doesn’t mean you have to keep your countertops empty. Style your countertops with organization.
- Use a stylish tray to group your essentials (marble or silver).
- Display a fancy soap dispenser, favorite skincare products, or your everyday perfume.
- For that spa feel, place a small plant and a candle.
8. Hide Storage Inside a Moulding Cabinet

If you hate everyday clutter, then use hidden storage for peace of mind. Even better, if you’re doing a bathroom reno, hide your cabinet in mouldings.
- Incorporates design with practicality
- Make use of unused wall space
- Store makeup, skincare, and all kinds of things.
9. Organize Your Routine with a Skincare Trolley

If, like me, you love self-care and have millions of products that you can’t seem to find space for, then I highly recommend a skincare trolley.
- Organize your products for morning and nighttime routines.
- Easily move your trolley from the bathroom to the bedroom.
- Have a shelf for each category: skincare, bodycare, haircare, etc.
10. Install Acrylic Shelves

As I’ve mentioned before, acrylics are an amazing, affordable option for your bathroom. Not only do they provide storage, but they also create a light, clean look.
- Hang them on a free wall or stand them on your countertop.
- Skincare and makeup- whatever you use most, I highly recommend placing.
- For those of you obsessed with perfumes, I highly recommend displaying them for a luxury feel.
11. Keep Drawers Tidy with Wooden Dividers

Add some warmth and organization to your bathroom with wooden dividers. They offer a stylish look whilst also creating a system for all of your things.
- Use every compartment for everything: cotton pads, beauty tools, toiletries, accessories, etc.
- Visually appealing whilst storing your items.
- Best used for deeper drawers.
Final Thoughts
Who says you need a makeover for your bathroom to create a functional space. Adding small changes such as drawer dividers, shelving, or labelling can make a huge impact. Choose ideas that suit your space.
I recommend first decluttering your bathroom; from there, see which storage solution will best fit your bathroom. You’re one step closer to an organized, clutter-free bathroom that has a place for everything.
